James Gunn is also returning, writing and directing his final MCU flick before he goes all in with the DC Universe.
In the third Guardians movie, Peter Quill is still rocked by the loss of Gamora, but he must rally his team once again when a threat against the universe emerges.

When are Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 tickets likely to go on sale?
Marvel hasn’t officially revealed when tickets will be going on sale for Guardians 3. However, we can look at previous MCU films to analyze when it will roughly be.
Tickets for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania went on sale on 16 January in the UK, and 17 January in the US – around a month before the film aired in cinemas. The film before that, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, had tickets on sale just over a month before it was released.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is due to release on 5 May 2023. Therefore, we expect that tickets will go on sale around the first week of April 2023. If we hear any more, we will update this article.
