The Giro 2020, Giro d’Italia was to start from the Hungarian capital, Budapest, on May 3, 2020 for an arrival in Milan, after passing through France on May 31. Due to pandemic and containment measures, the tour will take place October 3 to 25, 2020.

It was also announced that the stages in Hungary are canceled, the kick-off was whistled in Monreale, in Sicily, with four stages on the program including one in the high mountains.
