Microsoft has announced that the integration of Apple’s online photo storage and synchronization service, iCloud Photos, is in the process of being rolled out for Windows 11 users.
This option will allow those who have Windows 11 and an Apple smartphone or iPad tablet or even a MacBook alongside, to sync their iCloud photos into the Windows Photos app.
Before to do this, it was a hassle! You must use a web browser then access icloud.com to view your photos from Windows, or install the application iCloud for Windows to be able to recover your photos. And it’s the same thing for Transfer Photos and Videos from iCloud to Google Photos !
This integration or possibility of synchronization between two cloud storage services is the result of a partnership between the two technology giants, Apple and Microsoft in order to attract more users for both camps.
So, to sync your photos from Windows 11, you need to install iCloud for Windows software on your computer and log in to your Apple iCloud account.
Once connected, the synchronization will be initiated and the import of your photos will begin immediately in the application. You will then have to consult your photos in the application classified by dates or by memories or events.
The deployment and according to Microsoft will be completed at the end of November, and therefore it is possible that this novelty is not yet available in your region.
