In order to view the word count of the slides and notes in PowerPoint, we will need to open the presentation and then click on “File” in the upper left corner of the screen.
Once we do, we will have to go to the left sidebar and we will have to click on “Information”.
Next, we’ll look on the right side for an option that says “Properties”. By clicking on it, we will be able to access “Advanced properties” which will allow us to see more properties of the document in question.

If you want to get only the word count of the notes, you need to export them and open them in Microsoft Word. For that, we are going to have to go to “File” in PowerPoint, then from the left panel, we are going to “Export”.
Now we will have to click on “Create Documents” and the option to do so will appear on the right side. Therefore, we are going to have to click on the box below that says “Create documents”.
A “Send to Microsoft Word” dialog box will appear. Here we are going to have to choose the page design style we want by clicking on the options that we can see. Once we have everything set up, the presentation will open in Microsoft Word and we will be able to see the word memory in the lower left part of the screen.
