It may happen that you want take a screenshot of an entire page in Edge. Perhaps to save a recipe, guide, or text that you want to read or need to study. Either way, it is quite possible to take a full screen screenshot of any website.
Taking a screenshot of an entire website in Microsoft Edge allows us to save a large amount of information in an extremely easy way. Moreover, it is much easier to share it through apps like WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.
Therefore, today we will see how we must do to take screenshots of a page in Microsoft Edge. It is an extremely simple process that we explain step by step.
Take screenshots of a full page in Edge
We are going to open the Microsoft Edge browser on our computer, then we are going to go to the web page of which we want to take a screenshot. After opening the page, we should ideally scroll to the bottom of the page to make sure the Web Capture feature loads all the images on it.
Edge doesn’t include all of the images if we don’t scroll the entire page. Therefore, it is recommended to do this before continuing with the process.
Once ready, we will have to click on the “Web Capture” button at the top of the toolbar. In case you can’t see it with the naked eye. All you have to do is click on the three dots which are in the upper right corner of the screen and you will then have the option “Web Capture” a little lower than it would be to take a snapshot. screen.
Then a small window will appear where we can select a specific space or directly the entire page. If you want to select the entire page, be sure to do what we told you above. Scroll to the bottom of the page for all the images to load again.
We can even make drawings or annotations before taking a screenshot. For this, we will simply click on the draw button at the top, after selecting what we are going to capture.
Next to the draw button we find an arrow pointing down, that would be a drop-down menu that gives us different options to change the color and thickness of the line. We also have the option of “Delete” in case you want to delete any type of annotation.
When you are done, you can click “Save” (this is the icon that looks like a floppy disk) which is located in the toolbar on the right side.
A full-page JPEG image is automatically uploaded to the default upload folder. Depending on the “length” of the web page, we will see an image that can be longer or shorter.
