Fortunately, there are tips that will help us find these files quickly.

Android provides you with its file manager

Not being able to find the downloaded files on a smartphone can be very frustrating. Android devices have a precise classification system that groups these files together in one place.

Indeed, these smartphones all have a file manager preinstalled. For example, on devices in the Pixel range, it is simply called “Files”. On the Samsung Galaxy, you will find it under the name “My Files”.

You can also choose to download another file manager available on Google Play Store. We can mention in particular the application “Files by Google. »In addition to helping you access downloaded files, it will help you manage storage space on your smartphone.

Access your downloaded files in two steps

To find the files you downloaded, you will need to look for a folder titled “Downloads”. To access it, you will first need to enter your device’s file manager.

If you are using a Google Pixel, you will then need to click on the icon at the top left of your screen which represents three horizontal bars. By tapping on it, you will see a vertical bar appear on the left side of your screen that displays several options. At the bottom of this window, you will see the “Downloads. »By entering this pane, you will find all the files you have downloaded.

The “Files by Google” application will facilitate all of these steps. Once you open it, you will need to go to the “Browse” pane. You will then only have to click on the “Downloads” option and you will see all your downloads appear.
