Once an email address is blocked, all future messages from that sender will be sent to the Spam folder. When you report spam, Google receives a copy of the email and can analyze it to protect other users from future spam.

Block an email address

  1. Go to Gmail website. Log in to your account if you are not already logged in.
  2. Open an email from the sender you want to block.
  3. Click on three vertical dots icon in the upper right corner of the email, then click To block [Mittente].
  4. click on To block in the pop-up window to confirm this action.

Report spam and phishing

  1. To avoid receiving unwanted emails, go to Gmail website. Log in to your account if you are not already logged in.
  2. Click the box to the left of the spam or phishing email or open it.
  3. For spam, click on the button Report as spam in the toolbar and select again Report as spam in the pop-up window.
  4. For phishing, open the email. Click on three vertical dots icon in the upper right corner of the email, then click Report phishing. click on Report a phishing message to confirm this action.

You can also block and report emails on the Gmail mobile app for iOS and Android.

Block an email address

  1. Open the Gmail app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android.
  2. Open an email from the sender you want to block.
  3. Touch thehorizontal three dots icon located next to the button Answers (not the three horizontal dots icon in the upper right corner), then press To block [Mittente].

Mark as spam

  1. Open the Gmail app on yours iPhone, iPad Where Android.
  2. Touch thecircular profile icon from the sender to the left of the email or open the email.
  3. Touch thehorizontal three dots icon in the upper right corner, then select Report as spam.

  3. Next to the sender’s name, click on the links unsubscribe Where Change preferences. If you don’t see any of these options, follow the steps above to block the sender or mark the email as spam.

On the mobile application:

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Open an email from the sender you no longer want to receive promotional emails from.
  3. Scroll to the end of the email, and then press unsubscribe Where Change preferences.
