Apple has relaxed its restrictions on messaging services, allowing its users to enjoy a process other than Mail on their iPhone.

Set Gmail as Default Email on iOS
To set Gmail as your default email, you need a few things:
First, the iOS 14, or higher, update will need to be installed on your iPhone, or iPadOS 14, or higher, on your iPad.
Next, Gmail should have been downloaded to your device. If not yet, then you can find it for free on theApp Store.
Once these conditions are met, follow these steps to use Gmail by default on your iPhone:
- See you in Settings.
- Scroll down until you find Gmail, then tap on it.
- Go to the option Default email app.
- Select Gmail.
Your choice will then be automatically saved.
