It’s no secret that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla requires a lot of resources to run, but even so, it doesn’t perform well on many devices, even the most high-end ones.

The goal of this guide is to increase your FPS and performance by lowering the settings you can avoid and optimizing the others.

You will get better performance and higher FPS which is almost guaranteed.

Before optimizing the settings, make sure that your system meets the minimum system requirements and preferably the recommended system requirements listed below:

With that out of the way, let’s start with the best optimization you can do.

Update your GPU drivers

It’s no secret that the best optimization is to update your GPU drivers. Ahead of the big game’s launch, AMD and Nvidia release drivers that improve performance, fix FPS and stutter issues, and more.

This applies to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as well.

To update your GPU drivers, open AMD Radeon software (For AMD GPUs) or NVIDIA GeForce Experience (for NVIDIA GPUs) and check for updates. If an update is available, download and install it.

Now on to the actual optimizations!
