These updates are therefore intended for old Apple products (iPhone, iPad and Mac) which cannot install the company’s latest operating systems, iOS 16 and MacOS 13.

Generally, when it comes to an update of an old operating system, it does not mean that the devices will enjoy new features of the latest operating systems. No, an update in this case is just to improve the functioning of the system as well as to correct security vulnerabilities and technical problems.

So don’t wait for anything new by updating the system of your old iPhone, iPad or Mac devices to iOS 12.5.7, iOS 15.7.3, macOS 11.7.3 and macOS 12.6.3.

To download and install these versions on your old devices, iPhone, iPad or on your iPod Touch, go to Settings > General > Software update. And as for the Mac, to download and install macOS 11.7.3 or macOS 12.6.3, go to Preferences System then click Software update.
