You’ve already steam cleaned your costume and considered getting a barcode tattoo. Now you might be wondering what else you can do to improve yourself? Here is our list of advanced tips to help you hone your skills in Hitman 3.
We’ll cover complex gameplay tips every moment and tell you how to complete challenges more effectively.
Use Instinct Vision often
Instinct Vision is one of Agent 47’s best resources. When activated, it will highlight any item you can pick up or interact with. There are many cases where a key card or key is hidden on a table. Items that are small can be glossed over and missed. Instinct Vision can help identify those hard-to-see things, which can usually be challenging.
Executors are NPCs who can see through your disguise and will alert other guards. When using Instinct Vision you will be able to keep an eye on them as they are identified by a white circle above their heads. You can also use it by hiding behind a wall and waiting for the guards to move away before making your move.
Try to make accidental victims
If you hope to go through each level of Hitman 3 like an invisible ghost, go for accidental killings. These murders will ensure that suspicion is not directed at you. Some mission stories will guide you to an accidental kill. However, this is not always a guarantee.
If you are doing a freeform run without any indication, always look for the opportunity to remove your target by “accidental” means. It can be as simple as waiting for them to lean over a ramp and push them. One of my favorites is hanging out near a chandelier winch. Once the target moves below, use a wrench to sabotage the retaining rope and watch the light fixture crash down, wiping out your target.
Work your way to better disguise on each map
Each Hitman 3 map has a long list of disguises to use as Agent 47. However, most do not allow you to move freely around the map. A bartender costume, for example, can get you into staff areas, but not much else. You want to make your way through disguises almost like climbing a ladder.
In Hitman 3Dubai card, penthouse guard outfit is the best you can get. It will allow you to roam freely through the staff quarters as well as the more exclusive penthouse area without arousing suspicion (apart from the Enforcers). The same can be said for the biker gang disguise on the Berlin map.
Pick up each item
Agent 47 appears to have unlimited pocket space. So use this to your advantage. There are items strewn all around each map. Some can be used as distraction tools like a coconut. Others like the screwdriver or the wrench are essential to set up accidental killings.
You never want to find yourself in a position where you don’t have the tool you need and have to go back. There is nothing wrong with grasping everything you come across. You might as well fill those pockets like there’s no tomorrow. Kudos to IO Interactive for never hesitating to limit the number of items you can carry.
Save often and stack the challenges
Saving often may seem like an obvious trick in our Hitman 3 guide but it plays a role in a much larger strategy. There are an incredible amount of challenges to complete to level up and unlock new gear. For the sake of saving your time and energy, save at the right time. This way you can complete one challenge, reload, and complete another.
For example, most map challenges require you to kill one target with a headshot and another to use the fiber thread to strangle it. Save just before you pull out your pistol for the shot, complete the challenge and reload for the next one.
This strategy can also be used when exiting the map. Depending on the map you are playing, there are challenges for using different escape methods. Save before you go on a getaway. Then you can load your save and take a different exit without having to replay the whole level again.
Is it a bit of a cheese? Absolutely. But your time is precious and even with this strategy you can still save many hours of playing Hitman 3.
We hope these more advanced tips will guide you through your journey. Hitman 3. We’ll have more guides and features, so stay tuned!
